Particle Accelerators are vital for science and society.
Our goal is to make them better.
The uses of particle accelerators are wide and varied, with applications including enabling new discoveries for fundamental physics, providing life-saving cancer treatments, mapping out the structure of viruses, and making commercial consumer electronics.
Our research focuses on the design, optimisation, and operations of particle accelerators. We bring together theoretical studies, simulations of beam dynamics, and experimental investigations to develop new accelerator techniques and technologies.
