Physics in the Bachelor of Science

With over 40 majors to choose from, the Bachelor of Science is one of the broadest undergraduate degrees around. The School of Physics offers the following majors in the Bachelor of Science:

  • Physics – learn to think critically about the world and how it works and develop experimental and computational skills through studying matter and energy and their interactions.
  • Mathematical Physics – combine physics and mathematics to understand the physical world and gain an introduction to advanced mathematical theory.

Get an early start on advanced study with the Laby Research Scholars Program

The Laby Research Scholars Program provides outstanding second and third year students with a supervised introduction to research in physics. As well as learning new things for the purpose of research goals, the Laby Research Scholars Program will enable you to gain workforce experience and the chance to meet, socialise and make friends with students of similar interests.
