Quink's Interference Apparatus
Description
A horn loudspeaker feeds into a two path network of pipes which reunite after traveling different paths. It is suggested that the signal generator be set to 1000Hz and the pipe A be raised till a minimum sound intensity is obtained. If now the isolating valve is closed a maximum signal is displayed on the C.R.O.
