Mg-5 High Road and Low Road

To demonstrate how potential energy can converted to kinetic energy.

Description
Two tracks are setup on the Pasco Roller Coaster Apparatus. Both start and finish at the same. The High Road (track) is just a straight gentle decline from point A to point B. While the Low Road (track) goes down and up a steep incline. Two carts on each track are released at the same time from point A. The cart that takes the low road arrives at point B before the cart that takes the high road. The cart that takes the Low Road converts more of its potential energy to kinetic energy than the cart that takes the High Road.
