Electrostatic Deflection of Water Stream Setup.
Description
A water molecule is asymmetrical in nature, even though a molecule of water is electrically neutral. This makes a water molecule polar in structure. A plastic cup with a hole in the bottom is mounted on a retort stand, is filled up with water. This is results in fine water stream falling into a plastic tray. The charging wand is electrostatically charged up with cat’s fur. When the charging wand is placed near the water stream. The water stream is deflected.
