What is it?

The Laby Ideas Centre (previously called the First Year Learning Centre or FYLC) provides facilities for students to work together to learn physics. You will be able to find a tutor on duty to answer questions, and computers if you need to do your prelabs or weekly homework.

When is it open?

The Laby Ideas Centre is open from Week 2 of each semester until the end of Swot Vac (where extra sessions may be scheduled). The hours of operation are 12:00pm to 3:00pm, Monday to Thursday. Please refer to the subject page on LMS for when a duty tutor for your subject is available at the Laby Ideas Centre.

Where is it?

The Laby Ideas Centre is located on the ground floor of the main building.
