Nuclear Microprobe Analysis

Associate staff member, Dr Chris Ryan, of CSIRO Division of Exploration and Mining, together with Prof David Jamieson, uses 5MeV Pelletron accelerator nuclear microprobe facilities housed at the School of Physics, to provide non-destructive quantitative analysis and trace mineral imaging suitable for a range of applications but in particular, for geological assay. For more information on technologies used, please refer to the website www.nmp.csiro.au.
