Funding & Performance

The School has a culture of research excellence that is internationally competitive and respected. In 2007, the School received approximately $9M in funding for NEW grants, primarily from the Australian Research Council (ARC) and Department of Education, Science & Technology (DEST). In 2008, the School received the highest amount of ARC funding (all schemes) for any Physics School within the country.
