Funding & Performance
The School has a culture of research excellence that is internationally competitive and respected. In 2007, the School received approximately $9M in funding for NEW grants, primarily from the Australian Research Council (ARC) and Department of Education, Science & Technology (DEST). In 2008, the School received the highest amount of ARC funding (all schemes) for any Physics School within the country.
For previous years’ performance, particularly with respect to research groups’ publications, complete list of grants received and other achievements, please refer to our Annual Reports. Information can also be searched by academic in our academic researcher profiles and the research group websites, found in Groups & Centres.
