Committees & Societies
Staff-Student Liaison Committee (SSLC)
The SSLC is designed to facilitate feedback between students and staff about the School’s teaching programs. The committee meets twice a semester and comprises staff members of the School of Physics and nominated student representatives for each subject taught at the School.

If you are a first-time user and you wish to view the previous meeting minutes, please log onto LMS (you must be a member of staff or a student enrolled in the University to access this information as it is password protected), then register with SSLC community by following this link using the same opened web browser.
You can then access the SSLC minutes clicking on the "Communities" tab on the upper right hand side and then selecting "Physics SSLC"

School Resources
- First Year Learning Centre (FYLC) is a study space devoted to first year students seeking tutors and assistance (located room 216)
- Baker Computer Laboratory comprises high performance research computers (Linux, Window) complete with specialist software (Mathematica, Matlab, IDL etc), scanners and printers available for all Honours and postgraduate research students (located 4th floor)
- The John Rouse Senior Physics Reading Room is a general purpose space available for second and third years (room N110, Nuclear Building)
