Postgraduate PhD scholarship stipend in Econophysics - applications welcome
The scholarship will ideally commence this year or early 2009
Econophysics is the study and modelling of complex systems in economics and financial markets, employing the tools and methodologies developed in statistical mechanics and theoretical physics.
The School of Physics, in collaboration with the Department of Mathematics and Statistics, is offering the Portland House Scholarship Stipend in the area of Econophysics, worth $25,000 per annum with approximately $5,000 per annum in research funds.
